Ila is a Month Old plus other pictures . . .

Ila is already a month old (actually almost 6 weeks old at this point) and I can't even believe it! I am trying to update the blog, so here are pictures of Ila and the other kids over the last month that didn't make it into the other catch-up posts!
At Emmit's birthday party (6 days old)

She loves to sleep on her side

Ila was a little shy of a month old in this pic and I had weighted her that night and she was already 11lbs!

Hanging out with Mya and Emmit while Ky is at school

Emmit sharing Alysa's birthday cake with her at  Brandom and Cammi's.

Tummy time

Helping her brother play games on the Ipod. This lasted about 2 seconds before they started fighting again. They just fight without Ky around in the mornings!

Playing dress up. She can't wait until Ila can dress up with her.

Blowing the bubbles that grandma Schank got them on the front porch.

Loving on her baby sister

Sleeping while hauling bales with dad. Kindergarten wears Kylan out!

Ila's Blessing

This is the only picture I have of her blessing. It was a pretty crazy day. Emmit had started a fever the night before, we didn't sleep well at all the night before and so we didn't do pictures after sacrament meeting because I was just trying to get Emmit out as quickly as I could because his fever was high again by the time sacrament meeting was over. HOWEVER it was a beautiful day. Ila looked so cute, the blessing her dad gave her was beautiful and she was awake the whole time but didn't make one peep! All of her grandparents were there, plus Uncle Derild and Aunt Lynne, Uncle Gav and Aunt Rayanne, and Aunt Carmen. We celebrated her blessing that night with dinner and dessert (and my birthday a little). We are just so blessed to have this little girl be a part of our family!

The Big 3-0

I am 30 now and really it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. I still don't feel old enough to be married, have 4 kids, mortgage, car payment etc so I guess it isn't as bad as I thought it would be, of course it might have been nice to feel a little more grown up. Oh well! I had a whole week of celebrating thanks to my wonderful family and friends. The Friday before Tim took me out to dessert without any kids, even the baby (thanks Tonya). We had an appetizer and deep fried ice-cream at La Fiesta. On my actual birthday my mom called and said she was taking the kids so Tim could take me out again, this time we had dinner at Julio's and then dessert at Dairy Queen. Friday night Rayanne surprised me. She said just her and Tonya and Carly were going to take me out, but they had a bunch of friends and family come and we ate at La Fiesta again (just can't get enough of them lately). On Sunday we combined my birthday with Ila's blessing party and had Taco's and then ice-cream sundae's with Teri's homemade hot fudge. I'd say turning 30 was actually a lot of fun!
My biggest accomplishments in my life this far:
*graduating high school
*graduating college
*student teaching
and the biggest . . .
*Marrying my wonderful husband in the temple almost 8 years ago
*Having my 4 beautiful children all before the age of 30 (made it by just 26 days)

First Dove Hunting Trip

Since Kylan got his first BB Gun this year his dad decided he was old enough to go dove hunting with the guys. He and his cousin Braden got up at 4:30am to go eat breakfast and then go hunt. While their BB Guns aren't powerful enough to really kill a dove, they loved being able to go and shoot at the birds. They have gone on several hunts since, but here are a few pics of the first morning. And no I didn't get up at 4:30 just to take pics, I was already up with Ila!

Such a cute little hunter!
