For Rent

After weighing all of our options, we have decided to hold onto our old home for awhile and rent it out, so . . . . . if anyone is looking or knows anyone who is please give us a call (we are in the phone book). It is 3 bedroom 1.5 bath. All hardwood floors and a gas fireplace. It is on a corner lot (which means only one neighbor) and has a nice sized back yard (all fenced in with sprinkler system), an oversized attached garage and a very nice storage unit (that I wish I could bring with me). I will post a pic on her soon! Please contact us for more details!!

Some Photos

Our new little guy! I might be biased, but I think he looks pretty darn handsome in this profile! I can't wait to kiss those little lips!
I know it's only been a week since my last belly pic, but I wanted to show how much I am growing right now!

I just liked these that I took to send to Bill of the new living area!

It's A . . .

I guess Kylan is right again. When we told him, he just looked at us like "what's the big deal, I've known that the whole time!"
We are very excited (but we would have been just as excited if it were a girl)!

My Three Favorite People

I sure do love them!

Almost 22 Weeks

Here it is at about 22 weeks. I can't believe I only have 18 (or less) left! I'm starting to get a little panicky! We find out on Wednesday what we are having, so if you want to guess, do it before then!

Pictures Finally!

I'm not sure why my pictures won't move for me, but here are pictures of the most unpacked areas of the house. The kids love having so much room and so do I! Please feel free to stop by and take a peek, we really don't mind! I love having people over now that we have so much room for them!
As you can tell, I still have a lot of unpacking to do and we have a lot of cleaning up to do outside (behind Kylan in the picture), but we are so happy to be moved in and living here! When I go back to our old house to get more stuff I can see how on top of each other we were. It's nice that the kids have so much room now!

Moving In Update & Baby News

First of all, we have the BIG ultrasound on Wednesday, April 21st. We're so excited to see if we keep with the same pattern as Gav & Rayanne or not!
In moving news, we are moved in except for a few things, like my whole kitchen, but we are so excited! Tonight will be our third night here and it has been great! I was afraid Ky would miss our old house, but we were there this morning cleaning up (it looked like a tornado had hit it after we moved) and he kept telling me he missed our NEW house and wanted to go back. The kids have also both slept the night so far, so hopefully that will continue!
The only downside to all of this is that my laundry room is still not ready and won't be for probably another week because the 100amps of electricity that is running to our house isn't enough, so we have to have a new line ran. So, for the time being, I just do loads at the old house while we are doing stuff there and that has worked out so far, but the new one better be ready before we are done working there or else it's not going to work too well!
I really wanted to have pics, but of course my camera is MIA since moving, so once I find it I will put some one!

Moving Day!

Today is the day! We are moving!!! So, since I won't have internet until tomorrow and will probably be too busy to post anyway, here are some pics I took yesterday so you can see what things look like empty:

I'm not sure why my pics won't move where I want them, but the two photos on the left are of the living area. The carpet guy is coming back this morning to finish the stair in the living room and the rest of the stairs to the upstairs. Top right is Kent and Kal (Tim isn't in the picture) putting the floor in the laundry room which turned out really well! The laundry room plumbing won't be ready until this weekend. Bottom right is our room with the carpet. The only thing left in here to do is take down the light fixture and put our ceiling fan from our old house up. Wish us luck!!!

The Carpet Upstairs

Kylan's room before:

Mya's room before:

Looking from Mya's to Kylan's.

The carpet ended up a little lighter than I thought it was going to be, but I really like it and I am really excited about it! It will be shaggier looking once we vacuum it and walk on it for awhile.

Can Hardly Wait. . . .

to see how the carpet is going to look! Hopefully by the end of today some of it will be in! It's like Christmas!

Easter Pics (a week late)

I didn't get any pictures on Easter, but here are the kids in their Easter clothes for church today.

Mya is throwing a tantrum because I took made her get off to take a pic of Ky.

Photo shoot is over.

Not the best pic, but this is the cute little jacket my Grandma Schank made for Mya when she was born. It is so cute over her church stuff!

So Close We Can Taste It . . .

We are all ready for carpet! Thanks to Kent and my dad we have gotten so much done the last couple days I can't believe it! Tim just got home and said he thinks the only times he and Kent sat down today since 8:30am are at lunch and at dinner, and it wasn't very long!!!

The tile before it was grouted. I am way happy with how it turned out.

My dad grouting it tonight.

And the finished product. Of course it needs to be cleaned, but it needs to sit for a couple days.

The hardwood sanded down and swept and vacuumed. I'm so glad my dad talked us into doing this before the carpet because it made a lot of dust!

Kent and Tim varnishing the floor. We didn't stain it because we liked the natural color.

The finished product (ignore my dirty lense).

Everything cleared out and ready for carpet the beginning of next week.
Other things Kent, Tim and I did today:
  • Removed the swamp cooler from the roof and patched it.
  • Framed around the ducting going upstairs for the heating and air up there. We didn't do the dry wall yet because the heating/air won't be finished until Monday, but we wanted the carpet people to know where to put the tack strip.
  • Varnished the bathroom doors
  • Put up towel racks, toilet paper holders, etc in bathrooms and put the door knobs on the bathroom doors.
  • Some touch up painting

I can't wait to post pics of the final product next week!!!

House Update

I don't have any pictures, but here is an update on how things are going:
  • Heating and air should be fully installed by Monday (they have been working all week on it)
  • Tile in front of both entrances will be layed on Friday and grouted on Saturday
  • Carpet will be installed on Monday, Tuesday and possibly Wednesday if they need another day
  • Thursday (or Wednesday) we will be moving in!!
  • New windows upstairs will be installed sometime in the next couple weeks

I'm so excited! We are going over tonight to do touch up painting, varnish doors and clean clean clean! I want everything cleaned by the time they put the carpet in! I can't wait to take pics of the finished product next week!

I'm half way there. All I can say is Wow!
*** I actually think they are off on my due date because Tim has been able to feel the baby move for over a week. I don't remember that happening this early. I guess we will see in a month when I have my ultrasound!

New Baby Niece and House Pics

I don't have the best pictures, but you can see all of her dark hair in this one.

Leah watching the pediatrician check out her baby sister. She looks a little concerned.

Braden watching her get checked out.

Kylan when we had to leave. He loves babies.

The master bathroom all cleaned up with the trim up.

New bathroom all done.

The wood floor relayed in the dining room.

The office without the heater, which will now be my laundry room. It is so big without the heater in it!
The heating and air should be done sometime next week, and then our carpet should be here the week after and hopefully installed soon after that. It's so nice to be almost done!

It's a Girl!

Gavin and Rayanne welcomed their little girl yesterday at 5:10pam. She weighed 8lbs 2oz and is 20 inches long and SOOOO beautiful. I have pics, but left my camera at the new house last night, so you will have to wait! They still haven't finalized a name yet (they are picking between two), but when they do I will post it!
Rayanne did great and she was right -she said she was having a girl the whole time! Kylan loved her and cried when we left the hospital last night!
Congrats Gav & Rayanne and I guess this means we are most likely having a girl as well! We now can't wait to see if the pattern will continue at our ultrasound in May!
