Congrats Tristan and Derek!

I just want to say CONGRATS to Tristan and Derek on the arrival of Raegan (love the name by the way)! We are so excited for you guys! Welcome to parenthood - it is the best! I only wish you guys lived closer! I wish SOOOOOOO badly I could be there right now snuggling her! I also can't wait until her and Mya can play together - it could be another Me and Tristan (and Tristan and I are copies of our mothers)!
Love you guys!

Happy Birthday Brae - Brae

Our nephew and Kylan's cousin Braden turns 3 today! It seems like just yesterday I was waiting in the hall with Rayanne's sister while he was born! Ky and Braden love to play together and with a few exceptions always play very well!!! This morning while I was getting Ky ready for church he started singing the birthday song. I asked him whose birthday it was and he said "Brae-Brae's". We love you Brae-Brae!!! Happy Birthday!

Organic Milk vs. Non-organic Milk

This is a post from a friend of ours who we met in Logan while Tim attended the dairy program there. She too is a wife of a dairy farmer and wrote this post on organic milk vs. regular milk. She (and I) am not bagging on organic products, but she (and I) do think that it is important to know what you are spending your money on. I have been wanting to write a post like this also, but since she has already done it I am just going to link it to this one. Click HERE

Random things I haven't blogged . . .

I had a bottle with dry rice cereal in it sitting on the table, and while I was in the kitchen Kylan got it and poured it all over Mya. Would have been funnier at the time if it hadn't been the last of the cereal. Tim was at the new Transformer movie (which he was very disappointed in because the girl had to be half naked the whole time - really, was this necessary), so when he got home at 10:30 he went and bought some more.

Kylan wearing big boy undies and playing trains. He still isn't potty trained, but if I make him go every hour or so then he doesn't have any accidents and I save a few diapers!

Mya has become semi mobile. She now rolls, scoots and twists to wherever she wants to be. Here she is playing . . .

she starts rolling . . .

and this is where she usually ends up.

Family Vacation 2009

Last week after my mom discovered that Kade, Leah & Evan, Kent, and Kal and Lacy were all going to be in Salt Lake, we all decided to head over there and spend a few days together. We left Thursday morning. Kylan rode the whole way there and back and while we were there with grandma and grandpa in grandpa's truck. We spent most of Friday at 7 peaks water park. Kylan was in heaven! That night we ate pizza at the hotel, then went to the open house of the latest temple in the Salt Lake valley. Saturday was spent at the Hogle Zoo and temple square and then an awesome dinner at a Brazilian style place at Trolly Square in Salt Lake. Sunday we all went home. Here are a LOT of pictures of our trip. They aren't in order because I don't have time to do that, so I will explain each one and you can refer back to by order of events to see when each took place!

Watching fireworks out of the windows in my parents room. They shot off fireworks a block from our hotel room.

Riding the carousel at the zoo with dad. Kylan was terrified until the ride started and then he thought he was on a motorcycle ride.

Hanging our with Grandpa and Uncle Kort at the zoo.

Evan loved giving Mya ungs and kisses.

Checking out the monkeys.

Getting ready to leave 7 peaks. Yes, I forgot to put sunscreen on until it was too late.

Hanging out at the edge of the kiddie pool.

Kent posing with his girlfriend Stacey.

Mya and dad taking a nap at the water park.

Grandpa and Kylan hanging out. I think that he had just as much if not more fun at the park then the little boys. He took them on all the slides, down the river, in the wave pool and let them jump off the sides to him. He is an awesome grandpa!

Evan hanging out with Kal and Lacy in the wave pool.

Uncle Kent and Ky in their matching outfits. They were both wearing the same color blue shirts and plaid shorts the first day.

Waiting for grandma and grandpa Thursday morning in their new double stroller.

We had such a great time! Thank you grandma and grandpa Schank for taking us with you!!!
